this product zalman zm-nc2000 is really silent but as a cooler is not so good as other users write...! my laptop is still hot and cpu still above average temperature...! I've got it on full wind and should be extra fan in it !

This is the best cooler I have had to date. I have a 17" laptop that requires additional cooling. I have two competitive coolers that are stored in a corner to giv-a-way. This cooler is more expensive, but you are getting a quality product with additional USB ports.
Amazing Laptop Cooler July 14, 2010

I now see why this cost $60, Quality. This cooler is amazing. It keeps my 17" laptop really cool. I had 2 different ones before that were about $20-$30 but they didnt work very well. One of them wasnt sturdy enough to support my gaming laptop and cracked. My second one i had for 4 years but it was made of steel and scratched the bottom of my laptop and its also amazingly LOUD.
This Zalman model is nearly silent and is keeping my laptop really cool. Not does the fan cool the laptop, but the aluminum body also helps alot. I been using my laptop for a while and the bottom is still cool as well as the bottom of my laptop, normally the bottom is burning hot.
Just hope that the fan wont die, cause I saw a few 1 stars review saying that it died.
Huge, Quiet, Sturdy, and Powerful July 11, 2010

I bought this product to help with the massive overheating problems of my Dell XPS Laptop.
I have an XPS M1730, which is a great gaming laptop but has tremendous heat issues. It's also so large that my friends joke it's not really a laptop, it's more of a portable desktop. As a result, I went through a few inexpensive notebook coolers. The problem with most is that they're too small, or they have fans cased in thin plastic, so a heavy laptop on top of the fans will push the thin plastic in and eventually ruin the fans. It's also hard to find a cooler that's powerful enough to really address severe heating issues.
This notebook cooler is a little more expensive than some others, but is well worth it. It's large enough that it can fit my XPS M1730, which means it's almost certainly large enough for any laptop you may have. The fans are extremely powerful but quiet, and adjustable so you can lower them if you don't need as much juice. It's also solidly built. It still works to cool down my laptop and it's been almost a year since I bought it.
If you're in the market for a notebook cooler, you will not regret this purchase.
