I ordered this thinking it looked reasonably solid, but was very disappointed when it arrived. The lid is very thin and pliable, which I am worried the sun will quickly distort, and when the cold frame is lightly tapped with my foot, the whole thing jiggles with flimsiness. I set it up anyways since I already bought it but don't expect it to make it through an entire season.
I bought this because I rent and didn't want to construct something out of heavy materials so when I eventually move I wouldn't have to deal with the bulk. If I had known the poor quality of this product, I would have gone to the recycled building materials store and bought a few wood-framed windows for $10 each which would have made for a stronger, more aesthetically pleasant, bigger, and cheaper cold frame.
I wish I could have my $70 instead of this thing.
