Great cut-off tool February 18, 2009 Jim Mynes (Maine) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This cut-off tool is likely the only one you are going to need. It uses the same batteries as the rest of my tools, accepts standard wheels, and has plenty of torque to get the job done. Sure beats a hacksaw!
Great value! February 14, 2009 Robert Leblanc (Long Island, NY) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
If you already have DeWalt 18v batteries, then adding this tool to your kit is an affordable way to have a great grinder.
The retailer shipped the product quickly and in perfect condition.

This is the handiest tool in my garage. Very pleased with the quality, portability and power of this little guy. Shoulda had one sooner.

dewalt is a quality product, and I was pleased to find it so reasonably priced. I have been using dewalt tools for years, this grinder was a much needed addition, thank you amazon.

Needs to have the handle redesigned February 8, 2008 ttamnoswad 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I used this thing for just a couple of things so far. I ground off some rivets while changing the power window regulator on my car and ground down some screws that were poking through a board in a crawl space. It is very convenient, handy, and light weight. A cordless grinder is a must for those quick jobs. But as a someone who has done extensive metal fabricating, I cant get used to the handle design. I would prefer the grinder to actually use a traditional grinder body and handle, just with the battery at the end. I don't like the raised offset loop type handle. It should just look and feel like a normal 4 1/2 inch grinder. Dewalt should redesign this for the 18 volt nano model.
